WOOVY — TERMS OF SERVICE
Last updated: October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and DigiLabs for your use of Woovy. By creating an account you accept them.
1. WHO WE ARE
Woovy is operated by DigiLabs, a sole trader (eenmanszaak) established in Belgium. Our full registration and contact details are in section 13.
2. WHAT WOOVY IS
Woovy is a dating app. It shows you profiles of other people near you, lets you indicate interest, and opens a conversation when that interest is mutual. That is all it is. It is not an introduction agency, it does not vet the people on it, and it makes no promise that you will meet anybody.
3. ELIGIBILITY (18+)
You must be at least 18 years old to use Woovy. By creating an account you confirm that you are. You must also be legally permitted to use a service of this kind where you live, and not be barred from it by any previous ban of ours or by any conviction or court order relating to sexual offences, violence, or harassment.
We take age seriously. An account reported as belonging to a minor is paused immediately, before review, and permanently removed if the report is correct.
4. YOUR ACCOUNT
- One account per person. Do not create a second account, and do not create an account for anybody else.
- You sign in with Apple or Google. Keeping that account secure is your responsibility; anyone with access to it has access to Woovy as you.
- Your account is personal. Do not sell it, rent it, share it, or transfer it.
- The information on your profile must be true and must be about you.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings. See section 10.
5. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO
The full list is in our Community Guidelines, which form part of these terms. In summary, you agree not to:
- Pretend to be someone else, or use photos that are not of you.
- Harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, or abuse anybody.
- Post nudity or sexually explicit imagery, or send it to anybody.
- Use Woovy to sell anything, advertise anything, recruit for anything, or run any kind of scam — including asking other users for money, cryptocurrency, gift cards or investment.
- Post anything hateful about a person or group on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or age.
- Involve anyone under 18 in any way.
- Share anybody else's private information, or republish anything you were sent in a private conversation.
- Reverse-engineer the App, scrape it, automate it, or attempt to defeat its limits, filters or paid features.
6. YOUR CONTENT
Your photos and your words remain yours. You keep ownership of everything you put on Woovy.
By posting it you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content for the purpose of operating Woovy — showing your profile to other users, delivering your messages, and running the moderation that keeps the service safe. The licence is limited to that purpose. It does not let us use your face in advertising, sell your content, or license it to anyone else, and it ends when you delete the content or your account, save for copies we are required to keep as described in the Privacy Policy.
You confirm that you have the right to post what you post, and that it does not infringe anybody else's rights.
7. SAFETY — AND WHAT WE DO NOT DO
This clause is the one worth reading twice.
We do not run criminal background checks, identity checks, or any other vetting of the people on Woovy. A profile appearing in your deck is not a statement by us that the person is who they say they are, is single, is safe, or is telling the truth about anything at all. Verification badges, where shown, indicate only that a check was completed — never that a person is trustworthy.
You are responsible for your own interactions. Please read our Safety Tips before meeting anybody. Take the usual precautions: meet in public, tell someone where you are going, arrange your own transport, and stop if something feels wrong.
If someone on Woovy behaves badly, report them in the App. We review every report and aim to act within 24 hours. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services — in the EU, 112.
8. MODERATION, SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour on Woovy. Every profile, photograph and message is content you are responsible for, and anything reported to us is reviewed within 24 hours. Content that breaches these terms or the Community Guidelines is removed, and the account behind it is suspended or banned. You can report any profile or conversation from inside the App, and you can block anybody at any time — a block is immediate, it does not tell the other person, and it ends the conversation in both directions.
We may warn you, hide your profile, suspend your account or ban you permanently if you break these terms or the Community Guidelines, if we are required to by law, or if we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect other people. Where it is appropriate and lawful to do so we will tell you why, and you may contest a decision by writing to us at the address in section 13.
Serious violations — anything involving a minor, a credible threat, or non-consensual imagery — result in an immediate permanent ban and, where appropriate, a report to the authorities.
A ban is a ban on you, not just on the account. Creating a new account after a ban is itself a violation.
9. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND YOUR RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Woovy offers optional paid subscriptions and one-off packs that unlock additional features and allowances. Prices are shown in the App before you buy.
Purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their terms. Those stores act as the seller and handle billing, receipts, refunds and cancellations — we never see your payment details. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel yours in your App Store or Play Store account settings. Where a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited when a subscription is purchased.
As a consumer in the European Union you have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days for digital services, which you may lose once performance has begun with your express consent. Nothing in these terms affects your mandatory statutory rights. Refund requests should be made to the relevant store.
Unused allowances, boosts and crushes have no cash value, are not transferable, and are not refunded when a subscription ends or an account is closed.
10. ENDING THE AGREEMENT
You can stop using Woovy at any time by deleting your account: Settings → delete account. Your profile leaves every deck immediately and your matches and conversations become unreachable. You have 30 days to change your mind by signing back in; after that the data is permanently erased. The detail of what is erased and what is kept is in the Privacy Policy.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Woovy is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular result.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the conduct of any other user, whether online or in person, nor for any loss arising from your decision to communicate with or meet anybody. Our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it cannot be excluded or limited under mandatory Belgian or European Union law. That includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for gross negligence or wilful misconduct. If you are a consumer, your mandatory statutory rights are not affected.
12. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
These terms are governed by Belgian law. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, this choice does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
If you are a consumer and we cannot resolve a complaint directly, you may contact the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service (Consumentenombudsdienst / Service de Médiation pour le Consommateur), North Gate II, Koning Albert II-laan 8 bus 1, 1000 Brussels — www.consumerombudsman.be.
