WOOVY — COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

Last updated: August 2026

Woovy only works if the person on the other side of the screen is real, is an adult, and is treating you like a human being. These are the rules that make that true. They are part of our Terms of Service, and breaking them costs you your account.

1. BE YOURSELF

2. YOU MUST BE 18 OR OVER — NO EXCEPTIONS

Woovy is an adults-only service. Nobody under 18 may have an account, appear in a photo on a profile in any sexualised way, or be the subject of a conversation of a sexual nature.

A report that an account appears to belong to a minor pauses that account immediately, before anyone has reviewed it. We would far rather pause an adult by mistake for a few hours than leave a child visible for the length of a queue. Confirmed cases are permanently removed and, where appropriate, reported to the authorities.

If you see something that suggests a minor is on Woovy, report it. Do not engage with it, and do not attempt to investigate it yourself.

3. NO NUDITY OR SEXUAL CONTENT

4. NO HARASSMENT, THREATS OR ABUSE

5. NO HATE

Do not attack, demean, or exclude people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, immigration status, religion, disability, illness, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, appearance, or age. This applies to your profile as much as to your messages — a bio that lists which kinds of people are unwelcome is a bio that is unwelcome here.

Stating your own preferences is fine. Turning them into a statement about the worth of a group of people is not.

6. NO SCAMS, SPAM OR SELLING

Romance fraud is the single most common form of harm on dating apps. It nearly always looks the same: an unusually attentive stranger, a fast-moving connection, a reason they cannot video call, and eventually a request for money.

If someone asks you for money, report them. You are almost certainly not the first person they asked.

7. NO ILLEGAL ACTIVITY

No trafficking of people, drugs, weapons or stolen goods. No solicitation of a crime. No content that promotes self-harm, eating disorders, or suicide — if you are struggling, please talk to someone; in Belgium, Zelfmoordlijn 1813 is free and open 24 hours.

8. REPORT IT — IT IS ONE TAP

Every profile and every conversation has a report option. Reporting somebody also blocks them, so you never have to choose between "stop seeing this person" and "tell somebody about them".

The person you report is never told that you reported them.

You can also block without reporting, from the same screen, and unblock later in Settings → blocked accounts. Unblocking does not bring back the conversation — that is deleted when the block lands.

9. WHAT WE DO ABOUT IT

Every report reaches a moderation queue that a person reads. We aim to act within 24 hours, and sooner for anything involving a minor, a threat, or non-consensual imagery.

Depending on what we find, we may:

Every one of those decisions is logged against the operator who made it. If you believe we got it wrong, write to dlabseu@gmail.com and a person will look again.

10. IF YOU ARE IN DANGER

Contact your local emergency services first — in the European Union, 112. Report to us afterwards; nothing here should ever come before your safety.
